Judas Hatcher lives in a possible future where religion has been outlawed in the United States. He has to lose everything to find a purpose. But before he can, he has to turn his back on his life as a government enforcer, changing from a man who follows the law of the land, to a man who embraces faith as his salvation. Christians and other religious "malcontents" face a future country where they are no longer revered, but reviled. Hunted down like animals, a small band of believers embarks on a harrowing quest for freedom.
