"Orange Is the New Pinocchio," is a novel based on true stories with a science fiction twist. It brings together many of the concerns we face today with climate change and a pandemic, Trumpititis Virus. In addition, this novel touches upon the tension our society faces in politics like Trumpinocchio and his Flip Floppers. Greatly respected politicians were persuaded by Trumpinocchio to change their true convictions to become pawns in his chess game. Politics can tear people apart, make them evil from the inside out, and cause chasms in our society. The book also covers HimKimJunk with his complex of grandiosity and his desperate need to be admired, convinced that he is gifted and different from everyone else. The moral of this story is to teach the importance of teamwork, honesty, and integrity. It opens the eyes of readers to understand that now is the time to act. In this novel, the consequence of not acting to prevent climate change, and pandemics, will lead to the destruction of Planet Earth.
