"Would you become my foster parents?" Agreeing to become foster parents in 1978, set the course for life experiences that continue today. The Schoolers served as foster parents from 1978 to 1986 with Warren County (Ohio) Children Services. In 1983, they adopted their son, Ray, who was 16 years old. Ray is now 41, their birth daughter, Kristy is 31. Jayne's passion for over 20 years has been the training and education of adoption and foster care professionals and families. She has been been a featured speaker at numerous state and national conferences and trains regularly for the Ohio Child Welfare Training Program. She is the author/co-author of five books in the adoption field. Sharing in pastoral ministry with her husband, Dr. David Schooler, they have pastored in Missouri and Ohio. David and Jayne serve as faculty members for the Masters International School of Divinity in Evansville, Indiana. They are both active in international ministries as part of their work with Lamb International Ministries in Urkaine. The Schoolers live in Ohio and enjoy their three grandchildren.
