After receiving his J. D. and M. B. A. at Boston University, Professor Bird practiced law in Connecticut and served as a law clerk for the Connecticut Appellate Court, the U. S. Bankruptcy Court, and the Massachusetts Superior Court. His more than forty articles on employment law, intellectual property law, and strategy have appeared in the American Business Law Journal, Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy, Stanford Journal of Law, and others. Professor Bird has lectured at several prestigious universities, and has received multiple awards for his teaching and scholarly research.
