The oldest of four, he attended St. Joseph's RC High School in Horwich before transferring to Thornleigh Salesian College to complete his education. After leaving school, Richard joined the Bolton Little Theatre and the Octagon Theatre as an Actor and learned the art from other method acting professionals. Working in a variety of jobs to earn a living, Richard kept with his ideals and ambitions of pursuing his acting dreams and appeared in many television commercials during the early nineties. In June of 1999, Richard completed his education in Law at the University of Glamorgan, Wales, before emigrating to Los Angeles where he worked on various big budget films in Universal City and Los Angeles as a supporting artist, with much of his exposure gained directly opposite many A-list stars including Vin Diesel, Laurence Fishburne, Samuel L. Jackson and Paul Walker during his professional experience of the film and television industry in the United States of America. A highly passionate and creative-minded professional, Richard draws on his personal experiences of life and his unique perspective of the world to fuel his storylines for some of the most unforgettable and award winning motion pictures.
