My purpose in writing this book lies in the hope that my experience in caring for my wife at home over the past 12 years may be helpful to others who are now, or may be in the future, caring for loved ones with Alzheimer's. There are many decisions to be made and will require a commitment and dedication for a successful outcome. This will be a life-changing experience that necessitates rearranging your priorities. In my view, I consider this challenge as an opportunity to give back to my wife all the love and care she has bestowed upon me and my family over the past 63 years we have been married. I thank God for every day that she is with me. I now have a new mission in life - a most blessed one indeed!!
