We can be entirely worldly if we let our egotistical needs, wants, and desires, along with a dedicated passion for possessions and pleasures rule us. No one will ever be completely spiritual because our human nature will not allow it. We are flawed and imperfect. The best we can hope for is to learn how to let parts of our egotistical wants die and fade away and then to live peacefully with a balance of the worldly and the spiritual.
