You definitely need to do without some luxury kitchen items when camping, but the one thing you will always need is a good frying pan! Whether you are cooking on a grate over a roaring campfire or a gas stove, a frying pan is a must. The recipes included here are some of my favourite breakfast dishes to help start the day off right when exploring the great outdoors. One tip I would pass along when cooking outdoors is to adjust your cooking based on the strength of your fire and to keep an eye on your meal. When cooking potatoes, it is always best to start cooking them before you add any meat or eggs because they tend to take longer to soften. Cutting your potatoes thin or dicing will decrease the cooking time for your home fries and you won't find yourself gnawing on a half-cooked crunchy potato.
