"Closed doors offer opportunities for new beginnings". The main character, Allison, will take you on a journey through her eyes, while attempting to embark upon a new relationship. She will allow her readers to engage in her personal growth she gained while defining herself, during the course of the relationship. "Living and loving does not always hurts", Allison would constantly remind herself of this truth, as she navigates through the many wonders and disappointments, of her life. She chose to hurdle her relationship challenges rather than remain at the starting line. Her journey down new paths that called to her after every hill, after each twist, after the many pot holes, after the winds, the hails, the rains, the storms, and so much more, were indeed her beacon. Each lesson she was to learn along the way, were needful for navigating the pathway towards the whole and complete life which awaited her. She grew wiser along her journey, learning after each trial, to focus on the rainbows as a reminder of life's remaining beauty, gifting a renewed strength, energy and inspiration after the rain. After all, who does not look up and smile when a rainbow is present after a storm, she thought. Therefore, she chose not to sweat the fog or the haze, but to trust that her deliverance is at the end of the well-challenged, intentionally navigated trail, as long as her hope and faith remained. As she continued to advance through life, she could only wonder, how was it possible she survived the many emotional bankruptcies? She embraced the greatest gift, when all was said and done. Her survival is due to a hidden embedded strength which she only discovered at the end of being emotionally bankrupt. A derailment that awaken within her a greater realization of self-worth and courage, along with purposeful determination, that made her the woman she was ultimately destined to become.
