Things are never so simple as they might seem from the start. When Avrel fled from a city guard, who no doubt wanted her for vagrancy, she ducked into a dingy tavern. She never dreamed of all it would lead to, but then it never crossed her mind. It was a chance to get away from the stinking city that'd never done anything for her, and to perhaps to find the means to actualize herself along the way. Argoth is a decent place for elves, men, even gnomes and those lots. But she? She wasn't born elf or human, but both. Combined with her circumstances as they were, it's no wonder she'd want to get away. But things were never so simple as they seemed from the start.




Loosely inspired by an ill fated table-top RPG, comes the first novel by Æthan Ashthorn. Set in a classic fantasy world, it's the story of a young urchin, and the simple job that would change her life forever.
