When a popular Woodinville, Washington winemaker is found dead in his warehouse winery, rookie police officer Kally O'Keefe is put on the case. O'Keefe is perfect for the role: she, too, is a winemaker-that's her part-time gig in her own Wine Babe Cellars. But the department's major crimes detective, Robert Riggs, providing procedural advice in the case, doesn't see it that way: he's none too pleased about being named second in command to a rookie. O'Keefe knows she can't solve the case without his vast investigative knowledge. And he can't navigate the world of wine without her.
