n the story "Masked admirer", Paul receives a mysterious message in which a masked girl shows her interest in him. This awakens in Paul a growing desire to know her until finally, overcoming her shyness, they meet and like each other. The story explores the protagonist's surrounding world and the emotions aroused by meeting other people. Julio Millares won the Vargas Llosa prize for novels and the Imaginaria magazine prize for children's stories. He lived in Brazil, Italy, France, Mexico and Sweden and then returned to his native Argentina. He is a professor in the Faculty of Arts of the National University of Cuyo.
