The poetry touches on the struggles of emotional trauma, loss, mental illness, re-conceptualizing your relationship with your body after chronic illnesses, and the feeling of falling in love with your partner but also with yourself again. These 40 pieces were written over the past two years as Heather's mental health worsened, they were picked out of filled journals and edited in the hopes that they might connect with you.
