THE HEARTBREAK MENDER 2 was written in response to the erroneous view that suffering in this life has no intrinsic value. The more I experience in life, the more I have come to realize that many whom God chooses to bestow a life of suffering are just ordinary people with childlike faith which in turn helps them to navigate through impossible situations. In choosing the 10 people to share their stories, I have come to not only appreciate their candor and honesty but in turn can say I have a greater appreciation of God because of it. Their transparency has brought a newfound strength and mettle to confront my own personal challenges in life.
