Becoming Certified in Neurofeedback: A Guide to the Neurofeedback Mentoring Process for Mentors and Mentees by Robert E. Longo, MRC, LPC, BCN and Richard Soutar, PhD, BCN is written for both mentees wanting to become Board Certified in neurofeedback by the Board Certification International Alliance (BCIA); and those professions who are either approved BCIA mentors wanting to improve their mentoring skills, or professionals who are BCIA certified and interested in becoming an approved BCIA mentor.

The first few chapters provide an overview of key aspects of becoming BCIA certified including the mentoring process. The last few chapters address key items involved in the mentoring process and provide helpful hints to both the mentee and mentor on core areas of being mentored. Additionally, this book provides several indices including examples of useful forms such as mentoring contracts, Professional Ethics and Standards in practicing neurofeedback, and both core and recommended readings.
