The Adventures of Henry the Space cadet is an anthology of eight stories in which Henry and his friends at the Tower observatory overcome all manner of evils to protect the school children who visit the observatory to learn about the Solar system.
In the real world, Henry was a puppet along with his puppet friend, the alien Zog, who used to help the people at the Swansea Marina Towers Observatory, to entertain and educate local school children about the wonders of the Solar System. The puppets became the stars of the show along with Persi, the talking computer.
In this book, Henry and Zog have lives of their own and have adventures in which they meet Davey the elephant, vultures, the Queen?s corgi, smugglers, a stowaway, the army, a weird and wonderful professor and the mysterious Oracle.
The author, Ron Clarke was one of the humans in the Marina Towers Observatory, working with Henry, Zog and Persi, to give the visiting school children an unforgettable educational experience.
