Faith can vary in degree not only from person to person, but from day to day within each of us. Faith allows us to be free of anxiety and to believe that outcomes will be positive. Faith is born of the belief that our Heavenly Father is an omnipotent, caring God who loves us. Faith makes our prayers more powerful, directs our actions, and blocks the fear which seeks entry into our hearts. According to scripture, without faith we will not withstand the satanic onslaught of the end times and teaches us that Satan works day and night to separate man from God by planting doubt, confusion, and complacency in their minds. Scripture also tells us that when we do not know God's Plan of Salvation, and thus do not understand why we suffer, we lack the armour with which to fight Satan's assault on our soul. Without this armour, faith is so easily lost that even Christ asked if He would find faith in those He loves when He returns to earth. But our loving God as given us instruction for overcoming Satan's spiritual attack and for building our faith. God tells us in Hosea 4:6: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...." and thereby provides the advice that if we do not obtain sufficient knowledge about the Plan of Salvation He instituted for our benefit, we cannot develop the understanding required to build or sustain our faith. Hosea 4:6 goes on to say: "....because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee....." Since Satan's goal is to destroy the children of God by separating them from God's instruction and protection, it is imperative to know what God provides to help us stand firm in faith as we enter the demanding challenges of the end times.
