When you practice the short moments meditation, you are associating moment-by-moment and more and more with the vastness of your own open intelligence and love from which all power comes-the power to love, the power to be generous, everything. So, you choose short moments. Even in the face of a tsunami, you rest and choose short moments. Rather than being distracted by all these events that we are experiencing in the world now, root yourself in open intelligence. In doing so, you access your innate wisdom and discernment, as well as the inexhaustible skillful means to be of great benefit to all.

If the whole world falls apart, open intelligence is what will carry you through. Yes, indeed, when surfing the tsunami that is breaking upon the world these days, open intelligence is what will carry you through.
