Stirring Up Additional Success with a Southern Flavor is a collection of over 300 recipes from 70 of some of the South's favorite personalities, politicians, performers from television, movies, country, bluegrass and Southern gospel music, as well as members and supporters of the Catoosa Citizens for Literacy and students of the Catoosa County's Shirley Smith Learning Center located just outside Ringgold, Ga. Hungry neighbors can pull themselves up to the table and get a taste of Tim McGraw's Chicken and Dumplings; then add a heapin' helpin' of Donna Douglas' meatballs (Elly Mae Clampett of The Beverly Hillbillies); enjoy a temptin' taste of Enos Daisy White Salad from The Dukes of Hazzard's Sonny Shroyer; have a shapely slice of Faith Hill's Great Meatloaf; cut off a big hunk of Alan Jackson's and Joe Diffie's Red Velvet Cake; or sit around the old cracker barrel and put a bit of former First Lady Rosalynn Carter's Plains Special Cheese Ring on a crispy cracker.
