Poet and novelist Kevin Arnold has expanded the original Nineteen Poems Around a Divorce; with new sections of poems about his photographer-daughter, his parents, 'And Beyond.' He's used the larger canvas to create an interwoven portrait of a real-life recovery from divorce, where the children, with time and support, begin to thrive again, as well. The closed, almost claustrophobic, world of a nuclear family described in the earlier poems expands as the children move out into the world. The story's arc may prove uplifting to those experiencing the immediate turmoil of divorce. Kevin Arnold watches with care the many ripples that happen when the stone of divorce is dropped into a marriage where there are children.
