Anne Gable Allaire is a gifted artist (designated a Master Pastelist by the Pastel Society of America), a loving mother of three, and a beloved wife, family member, and friend to all who know her. In 1997, Anne was diagnosed with a rare disease (amyloidosis). Her treatment consisted of a heart transplant followed by a stem cell transplant. Miraculously, Anne survived her ordeal. In 2011, she had another serious setback and beat the odds again. Because of these medical and spiritual miracles, Anne continues to live a full and rewarding life in Kennebunk, Maine. Miracles Do Happen is Anne's story, recounted in a direct and caring style by her loving husband, William Eric Allaire.
