?I Remember When . . .? is a small book of reports about God and His Holy Spirit. It is a collection of snapshots, stretching over more than 70 years of one man?s life. These experiences are unique and personal to the author. Each report tells of a specific moment when God entered time to bring a gift. Some gifts were of knowledge, insight or understanding. Some were of guidance. Some were material. In each instance, they bring glory to His Name. In grade school and in the Marine Corps., in business and at the sea shore, in the camp ground and at the kitchen table, God made His presence known. These reports are gathered here because these events ought not to be treated lightly or forgotten. Rather they should be raised up as memorials to His goodness. They are to be remembered as times of special grace, special evidences of His love. Their memory is to be savored and shared. The writer invites you to search your own life and to compile your own list of memorials to rejoice in before God.
