Poetry is a way of expression...a form of release. A poem can say so much in so little time. It can make you laugh, cry, smile and reminisce. Who doesn't want to go back to childhood to one special day or time in life? Who wouldn't want to say "I love you" or "I'm thinking of you"? The combination of words are powerful. Words can hurt also, but I pray that my words will help encourage, set free and empower those who read my book. A word can reach out but a river of words can take you on a long journey - an Escape into a world of freedom and release created for you and only you.
