As a follow-up to his well-received guidebook to the Leica D-Lux 4 digital camera, the author has written a new guide to the very similar Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3 camera. The new book includes numerous color illustrations showing the menus and controls of the LX3 and providing examples of photographs taken by that camera. In addition, the book is up to date with details of the upgrades of both cameras' firmware to version 2.0, which added new features such as white balance bracketing, menu resume, lens resume, and the high dynamic scene mode. This is the only book written specifically about the LX3, one of the most popular compact cameras of recent years.
