A selection of poems to support children's mental health, empathy and resilience. This volume includes accessible poems on a whole range of themes and topics important to children today; ranging from anti-bullying messages (Alone, Bullied), to being in care and having a parent in prison (New Girl), the loss of a pet (Goodbye) and living with Autism (Old Professor Me) through to embarrassment and personal hygiene (Yesterday's Socks). There is a strong focus on recognising and celebrating individual differences, whether they relate to culture, ethnicity, religion, disability or additional needs.
