This volume contains rules, tables and data for designing proportioning Turkish baths. The principles and data have been worked out by experiment and experience.

J. J. Cosgrove's first book was Principles and Practice of Plumbing, which was widely adopted as a textbook. He followed this with many other standard references works on plumbing, sanitation, and sewerage.
