A comprehensive study of the types of Jewellery yielded by the graves of the Minoan period and illustrated on sculpture, relief and in pictorial representations. Effinger analyses each type - plate-metal, rings, bracelets, beads, pendants and pins - and their variations, and notes the period to which they belong. the catalogue is arranged (rather illogically) according to findspot, with all jewellery items excavted at each location listed according to type.
