Contributor Bio: Lister, Ruth Ruth Lister is Professor of Social Policy at Loughsborough University in England. She was formerly Director of the Child Poverty Action Group. Contributor Bio: Kaplan, Lawrence J LAWRENCE J. KAPLAN is Associate Professor of Rabbinics and Jewish Philosophy at McGill University. Contributor Bio: Shatz, David David Shatz is Professor of Philosophy at Yeshiva University. His scholarly work focuses on the theory of knowledge, free will, ethics, and the philosophy of religion. He has co-edited five books and published over forty articles and reviews. He has been elected five times as outstanding professor by the senior class of Stern College for Women, Yeshiva University, and was a winner in the John Templeton Foundation Course Competition in Science and Religion.
