Contributor Bio:  Thompson, Andrew Andrew Thompson - Author of Origins of Arabia. Over the course of the last thirty years he has become familiar with all corners of the Arabian Peninsula. For fifteen of those years he lived in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Dubai; for the other fifteen he was a regular visitor, travelling both for business and pleasure.
