Birth announcements typically include birthdate, location, father's name and residence, but in certain cases the child's name, the mother's maiden name, and other information about the birth are also given. Death notices give the deceased's name, date of death, and place of residence, but often also give names of survivors, their residences, circumstances of death, personal attributes, employment, burial place and clergy involved. Marriage notices include names of bride and groom, parents' names, relatives, date and location of ceremony, judge or clergy.
