In this adventure mystery, an English Lord secretly enters the ancient tomb of Emperor Qin Shih Haung Ti in Xian the legendry terminus of the Silk Road. He absconds with a fabulous fortune. Anxious to avoid an international incident, the Chinese government contacts an undercover French organization, the Noir, to return the treasure. Three of the Noir's agents work against a glamorous sophisticated background that spans two continents to locate the treasure.
