In her novel The Sin Within, Thelmore McCaine tells a realistic and timeless tale of the problems black people face day-to-day. The story contains an exciting combination of romance, intrigue, and history. It is told by one who has actually lived through the changes of the views in American society. In the book, Andrew Duncan represents white America. All that was seen of Andrew Duncan was good. He is a kind, religious man who paid his employees well, and was always helping those in need. But sometimes, good people do and say bad things when they feel that others want to stamp out their views, their beliefs, and their heritage. The word prejudice haunts America and it is a very troublesome word to Andrew Duncan. There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the ends thereof are the ways of death. ¿ Proverbs 16:25.
