AN ADVENTURE IN JAZZ was written for the student pianist. It is intended to be an informative and entertaining picture of the probable origin of jazz. One person can study and play the entire set of pieces in each book, or the performance can be a class project. There is also an optional duet found at the conclusion of each book. It would make a charming closing for a group performance.
