A Little Life in a Great City Ruoyang Wu

My hometown is a small city in the southwestern China. In the summer of 2013, I transferred my plane four times with two 50-pound suitcases to start this new adventure as an international student in the US. Living and studying in San Francisco has been an incredible journey. Everything shapes me here. The totally new environment taught me how to jump out from the comfort zone, be open to the diverse culture and embrace the impossible with courage. I'd love to describe the journey as "from survive to thrive." This book is about my life with amazing people, adventure in this stunning city and thoughts about the society.
