This book is also written as a guide to provide a better client experience in salons and barbershops, ensuring longevity for Beauty and Barber Professionals in the beauty and barber industry. Licensed Beauty and Barber Professionals are trained to protect their clients' health and safety but NOW must go above and beyond. This year, 2020, is a wake-up call that has shined a light on how services are rendered, and the risks involved with visiting salons and barbershops. These risks have a major impact on the health and safety of the general public and this impact must now be addressed in policy changes. There must be NEW standards and NEW practices in the beauty and barber industry to address this REAL threat. Current standards and current practices must be re-emphasized, re-enforced and integrated with new standards, new practices and even new state and federal oversight of the beauty and barber industry.
