For the last ten years, I've lived like a shadow in the lives of others, invisible and intangible. I'm compelled to kill, and the problem is that I can't find a way to make it stop. There's no rhyme or reason to who I murder, and no one I can communicate warnings to.




For the last ten years, nothing has ever changed. So when I'm the only witness to a murder in downtown London, I decide that I need to make something change. The closest thing I have to a friend is also the only person who can even halfway perceive me: Lady Arabetta Yeboah, a dramatic self-employed psychic who deliberately looks and dresses the part in order to scare off skeptics. I need to find a way to tell her what happened, and if, by some miracle, that works, we need to find a way to get the police to take her seriously.




I wouldn't complain if the adventure helped me figure out who I am in the process, but let's be honest - when has anything ever been that easy?
