Growing up in a small town in the easy-going island of Sri Lanka, Al had no idea of the life in store for him. He met Jasmine, and they married while barely in their twenties. As troubles on the island brewed, an ominous warning of the civil war to come, Al and Jasmine left the country with no plan of their own. They trusted that there was one already laid out for them to discover.
