The events of September 11, 2001, revealed something more than evil. The Federal government?s analysis of the attacks provided a long list of intelligence failures, bungled communication and interagency squabbling that opened the door to bin Laden?s lackeys. When a massive bomb explodes in the bowels of the World Trade Center?s North Tower, a mysterious Swiss banker comes out from the shadows and sets a plan in motion that he hopes will fulfill his lifelong dream?to destroy the United States of America. The FBI forms an intelligence unit to supplement its Terrorism Task Force and recruits Christopher Garcia to head the group. Garcia starts a no-rules pursuit of a band of mercenaries, led by home-grown terrorist, Abdul Hamsa, and his al-Qaeda allies.
