When his best friend is murdered in front of him, Jamal takes matters into his own hands with the help of his cousin Samir, a well known and well connected drug lord in Philly. But Jamal's need for revenge leaves him caught in the middle of a drug war that is beginning between local drug dealers, corrupt Philly Cops, and Peruvian king pins who are trying to muscle their way into North Philly territories.

After the love affair with a fellow classmate starts, Jamal slowly begins to pull away from the street life with the hopes of turning his life around. But when the murder weapon used in the shooting death of his best friend's murderer turns up with his younger brother's finger prints on it, Jamal is at the mercy of his cousin once more as he desperately tries to keep his brother from going to prison for a murder he didn't commit. In a race against time, Jamal is willing to do whatever it takes to save himself as well as his brother...even if it means killing again
