The shades have been telling the boy that a deliverer would come, but he is beginning to fade. As River, Colt, and Paint begin to learn about their past, they must understand what it means to fulfill their great-grandfather's prophecy. As the residents try to forget what happened on Wide Gate Road, the trio realizes that their generation will remind all of what has been forgotten.
