Doochee, what do you remember about Grandma's home?"Oh, it always smelled so good like noodle soup and warm buns, it was warm and cozy and it had flowers. I just like being there. I also remember that Grandma was there and I liked that a lot. AiDa, a mature and insightful monkey, and his brother, Doochee, a playful bear, live in the middle of San Francisco, thousands of miles away from China, the land of their birth. They make plans to return to China and visit their grandmother. When they finally arrive, their grandmother's magical powers help her to share her simple wisdom regarding Eastern and Western culture with her grandsons. During their visit, AiDa and Doochee have conversations about life and childhood worries. Their grandmother shows them parts of the world meant to open their hearts and minds to a more spiritual view of people and life.
