Sith Abuda is drawn to his mother. He can't explain his attraction, or his strange dreams and nightmares. But he knows he's falling in love with her day by day: though it troubles him, it no longer matters. Just when he thinks he has everything under control, an old rival, Michael, his sworn nemesis, returns, bringing with him memories of an old war. The dreams become more disturbing and intense for Sith Abuda. He can't sleep, and finds Sophia's trust in him slipping. Meanwhile, Michael controls the body of Mikhail, his father, and seeks out Sophia. After Sophia has fallen asleep, and Michael is rejoicing at the top of the staircase, Sith Abuda sneaks up behind him and pushes him over the railing to his death. Michael escapes before death takes him, returning to his immortal body defeated. With his father now dead, Sith Abuda journeys to New York City after getting rid of her vampire companions with the help of Ramiel. There he will make the final bond, bring him closer to his beloved Sophia, binding them together forever. Will he make the bond before it's too late, or will it be his final defeat?
