Left alone after the death of his mother, Matt Wilson buys a gun and becomes the best there is with it. Forced into gunfights and earning a reputation that he doesnt want, Matt takes a cattle drive to Abilene and then hides out on a ranch in Kansas. After a gunman tracks Matt down and forces him into another gunfight, Matt decides to change his name and head west. When Matt meets and falls in love with a girl in Wyoming, he soon finds that it will take all of his skill with a gun to save his girls ranch from the gun-slick range hog that wants to take over the entire valley.
