Global Air, once the pride of the American airline industry, has hit some very turbulent weather. Pat Boyle, Globals up-from-the-ranks VP of operations, desperately tries to keep the airline flying safely while the new owner, Wall Street buyout artist Gerald Samuels and his hatchetman William Noren both contemptuous of established operations procedures connive to wring the maximum amount of money out of the failing carrier.
