Told from six different points of view, this story traces the lives of a tightly knit circle of friends through their deconstruction. Their distinct voices and personalities shine through as they tell the story of themselves. Corey, the moral center of the bunch, carefully documents his life in a tattered and ever-present notebook. Adam thrives on sarcastic remarks that he uses to mask his sensitivity. Jeremy must come to terms with his broken family and poverty-stricken life. Dalia, although flourishing in her all-male environment, must reexamine every decision she has made since befriending her pack at the turning point of her life. James is a sports-infatuated kid who tries hard in everything he does, often with no prevail, and Marty is an untouchable, demoralized teenager who believes the problem lies in everyone but himself. A long-coming fight tears the group apart, and each is effected in their own way. As they struggle to come to terms with themselves, each looks back on their history as a group, and wonders where things went wrong; and for the first time ever, their differences are not something to be celebrated.
