During the Bay of Pigs invasion, a young Cuban military officer is trapped by the Cuban revolution of Fidel Castro when his special operation to recover treasures hidden for General Batista becomes entangled in expatriate treachery and murder. His rescuing of a downed CIA-sponsored American bomber crew and the liberation of his young son Carlos set the stage for the officer's eventual escape. Powerful drug interests associated with his enemies and the American government are drawn into a frantic search for his son, who is believed to have become a major drug smuggler. When the rescued American pilot forms the only viable link to the elusive Carlos, the hunters soon find that they have become the hunted!
