When Nixon covertly bombs Hanoi and invades Cambodia, another hometown friend, Randy, lures James into an act forever transforming him and those he has known. Based loosely on actual happenings at the University of Wisconsin in the late 1960's and 1970, EVENTS OF THE DAY recreates one of America's most turbulent eras. A story of government gone wrong.
