Yarn shop owner Libby Becket finds her holiday plans on thin ice when someone gets murdered in this new Riverbank Knitting Mystery.
As the holiday season descends on Collinstown, Libby Becker is enjoying success at Y. A. R. N., with the help of the newest staff member, Shannon Milford. Shannon's efficiency is just the extra boost of help Libby needs to tackle her two upcoming holiday events. One is the Chamber Christmas "Tied Together for the Holidays" event that will encircle Collin Avenue in a ring of one hundred scarves that will then be given to a homeless shelter. The second is Y. A. R. N.'s holiday trunk show featuring "Galant Herdsman" Esteban Cordova.
Esteban and his yarn are sure to wrap up Y. A. R. N.'s year with a big success. The Peruvians dark-and-dashing good looks and savvy publicity have managed to make his upscale mountain lifestyle a fiber-world phenomenon. And what knitter wouldn't love to receive or give even a small bit of the expensive and ultra-luxurious yarn he offers? It's unfortunate that Esteban is an old friend of Libby's ex-husband, but in the spirit of Christmas, she can extend a little grace.
But when someone dies, Libby finds herself at the center of a murder investigation. If she can't unravel this case, she might just get a sleigh ride straight to jail.
