Jacob Martin is a nationally known athlete with unlimited ability. He is projected to be drafted after completing one year of college to the professional level. It appears that nothing is able to hinder or prevent him from achieving a high level of success, but he encounters a major hurdle which causes him to question his identity. Jacob is forced to navigate major setbacks on the basketball hardwood that threaten to crush his soul. It appeared that he would forever be incapable of overcoming the enormous challenges before him. Those close to him make one failed attempt after another to assist him with rediscovering his true identity, purpose, and significance, but it all leads to failed results. Jacob finally meets an individual who is also struggling in life, but able to point Jacob to hope beyond measure. This story reveals that as dark and difficult as life can be, there is always hope.
