Archway to Beyond David E Navarro

Born out of an academic passion for haiku, the author wrote a series of haiku, haibun, poetry, and prose to capture the intriguing and inspiring moments of his arts and humanities studies in his Capstone Class with Purdue University Global. Class interaction on discussion boards, in seminars, via announcements, by assignments, through feedback, and by email instigated a number of unique and interesting encounters and situations that afforded the author ample opportunity to express himself-and being totally immersed in the research and study of haiku, he was bent on sharing the value and benefit of haiku and how it has permeated our Western culture and society. He wrote a number of haiku in response to these interactions and situational moments, both to chronicle the events and to capture the moments of time for future reflection. These musings are compiled in this book which was also a gift to his capstone class.
